New plans aim to enhance the Kato Paphos waterfront

A series of improvements is being planned for Kato Paphos Harbour, with the aim of enhancing the area's infrastructure while preserving its unique seaside character and historic charm. The proposed upgrades are designed to improve the experience for both residents and visitors, while maintaining the identity of one of the city's most popular waterfront locations.

The plans include improvements to the harbour entrance, additional protection for the waterfront and the surrounding historic area, as well as the possible construction of a new pier that could accommodate larger visiting vessels. Other proposals include upgraded facilities for boats and improved systems for waste collection to help keep the harbour clean and protect the surrounding marine environment.

Additional enhancements are also being considered for the seafront, including improvements that blend with the area's traditional architecture and create a more welcoming public space. Together, the proposed projects aim to make Kato Paphos Harbour even more enjoyable while preserving the character that makes it a favourite destination throughout the year.
