More recycling, better services and upgraded infrastructure for Larnaca
Several projects to improve the environment and upgrade local infrastructure are moving forward in the Larnaca district. The plans include new green points, improvements to the water supply network, upgrades to the sewerage system and better management of rainwater.
A new green point in Larnaca is expected to open soon, providing residents with a place to dispose of recyclable materials such as paper, glass and metal. The new facility aims to reduce waste, increase recycling and help prevent illegal dumping. More green points are also planned in other areas of the district to better serve local communities.
At the same time, work is progressing on important water and sewerage projects, including new water reservoirs, upgraded networks and improved wastewater services. Additional projects for rainwater management are also being prepared, with the aim of creating safer, more efficient and better-served communities across the Larnaca district.
