Economic growth reached 3.8% in the third quarter of 2024

According to statistics published by the Statistical Office on Monday, the economy grew 3.9% in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.

The increase rate was 3.8% when the number of working days and seasonal fluctuations were taken into account.

The Statistical Office highlighted that the positive performance was driven by strong activity in key sectors, including Hotels and Restaurants, Construction, Information and Communications, as well as Wholesale and Retail Trade and Motor Vehicle Repairs.

This data underscores sustained economic momentum, particularly in industries contributing significantly to domestic activity.
