Paphos launches bus stop upgrade programme

The Municipality of Paphos has begun an extensive programme to upgrade bus stops across the city as part of ongoing efforts to modernise public infrastructure and improve everyday travel for residents and visitors.

Works have already started in the tourist area, one of the city's busiest locations, where new improvements are aimed at creating safer, more comfortable and functional waiting areas for public transport users. The upgrades are designed to enhance accessibility and provide a better overall experience for passengers.

According to the municipality, the programme will gradually expand to all districts and neighbourhoods of Paphos, with the goal of renovating and modernising bus stops throughout the city. The initiative forms part of wider efforts to improve urban infrastructure and support more efficient public transport services.
