New discounts introduced as Nicosia pool reopens

The municipal swimming pool in Nicosia is set to reopen for the 2026 summer season next week, welcoming visitors back with updated pricing and expanded discounts aimed at making access more affordable for families and community groups. The facility will operate throughout the summer period, offering residents and visitors a place to relax, exercise and stay cool during the warmer months.

The new pricing structure includes reduced rates for students, families, large households and individuals requiring additional support, while free entry will be available for young children and selected organised groups. Seasonal packages have also been introduced for couples and families of different sizes, making longer-term visits more affordable. Free parking will be available for all visitors during the summer season, while organised weekday groups, including summer activities and celebrations, will benefit from lower entry rates.

Additional concessions have also been introduced to support accessibility and inclusivity, with discounted seasonal access for eligible visitors and accompanying carers. The municipality says the updated approach is designed to encourage greater participation and ensure the swimming pool remains an accessible summer destination for people of all ages.
