Vrysoulles is a village in the district of Famagusta, positioned close to the British Bases of Saint Nicholas, or "four miles" as they are sometimes referred to, and less than ten kilometers west of Famagusta city. Geographically, the settlement is located where the plain of Mesaoria begins and Kokkinohoria end. The village is a refugee settlement that belongs to the community of Acheritou. Ayia Napa is about 20 kilometers away from Vrysoulles.
Before 1974, the village of Vrysoulles was primarily a livestock settlement, while today it also shows tourist development. Many residents of the Acheritou village have moved to the area of Ayios Georgios Vrysoulles.
Some of the village's top attractions include the Agios Dimitrios Church and the Memorial to the Fallen and Missing from the Invasion of 1974. Agios Georgios Pigadon Church, one of the most gorgeous churches in the region, is also close to Vrysoulles. Some traditional taverns are located at the village, where individuals can try out the delicious local cuisine. A crossing point to the occupied city of Famagusta, is also located in Vrysoulles.
