In the Pitsilia district of the district of Limassol, there is the settlement of Dierona. It is around 20 kilometers northeast of Limassol, close to the Arakapas village. Dierona is situated in a hilly terrain at an average elevation of 460 meters above sea level, to the right of the Germasogeia River. It shares a boundary with Arakapas to the north, Eptagoneia to the northeast, Prastio Kellakiou to the east, Akrounta to the south, Mathikoloni to the southwest, Apsiou to the west, and Kalo Chorio to the northwest.
Some interesting features of the village are the community park which was constructed in 2003 and additionally, the Dierona Bridge, which was built around 200 years ago. It used to assist residents of the village to cross the river of Mylos. Another worthwhile feature is the village's historic watermill that was used up until 1950.
