Sea travel option reconnects Cyprus and Greece this summer
Bookings have officially opened for the summer ferry service linking Limassol with Piraeus, offering travellers a seasonal sea connection between Cyprus and Greece. Tickets became available on Wednesday morning through official booking channels, with travel agents encouraging early reservations due to expected high demand during the summer months.
The route will be operated by the vessel AF Marina, currently the only maritime link connecting the two countries. The service will run from late May through early September, providing a 31-hour journey between the two ports. Ticket prices start from €40 per person, making it an accessible travel option for both tourists and residents seeking an alternative to air travel.
This year’s service continues a popular seasonal tradition, with the AF Marina taking over from the Daleela, which operated the route over the past four summers. The ferry connection is expected to once again play a key role in strengthening travel links and offering a unique travel experience across the Mediterranean.
