School supplies campaign aims to support students across Cyprus

A nationwide collection campaign is inviting the public to donate school essentials to help children prepare for the upcoming school year. Running from July 20 to September 4, the initiative will collect a variety of items that will be distributed to students who need extra support before classes begin.

Donations include new school bags, notebooks, pencil cases, pens, pencils and other stationery, as well as new or gently used school uniforms and clothing without logos. All collected items will help ensure children have the basic supplies they need to start the school year ready to learn.

Donations can be delivered to Red Cross collection points across Cyprus. Collection hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am–2:30pm in Nicosia, Limassol and Paphos, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–12:00pm in Larnaca and Famagusta, and Wednesdays from 3:30pm–5:00pm in Polis Chrysochous. Every contribution, big or small, can help make the start of the school year a little easier for local students.
