Photovoltaics for all: coming this October

Exciting news for all homeowners! In late October, we'll see the introduction of the "Photovoltaics for All" program, making it simpler and more affordable to have rooftop solar panels.

This new program is part of the government's efforts to help people in need. It's aimed at giving everyone access to the benefits of solar power, without the big upfront costs.

Who can join?

This program is for you if you're a homeowner with a roof that can accommodate solar panels. The fact that you won't have to pay anything up front is the finest part. The price can be spread out over two months. How? by using the solar panels to reduce your electricity costs.

No bank loans needed

You won't need to get a bank loan to make this happen. The money for the project comes from the Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Conservation Fund. They'll cover the cost of buying and installing the solar panels.

How it works

Once the solar panels are up and running, you'll start paying for them through your electricity bill from the AHK or another electricity company. This payment is about 150 euros every two months. But don't worry, you'll save more on your electricity bill, thanks to the solar panels.

Support from the government

On top of that, you can get up to EUR 1,500 from the government to help you out. This extra money makes using solar power even more appealing. It's good for the environment, and it's easy on your wallet.

The "Photovoltaics for All" program, which will launch in late October, represents a significant advancement in making sustainable energy accessible to homes. It's a fantastic opportunity to use solar electricity and save money while preserving the environment due to straightforward payments and government support. Watch this space for updates!
