Episkopi Bay strengthens coastal safety with a new marine station

A new marine station has opened at Episkopi Bay, helping strengthen safety services along the coastline and improve response times during the busy summer season. The facility will support marine teams operating in the area, with weekend patrols taking place from June to September.

The new station will help crews respond more quickly to incidents at sea while supporting a wide range of activities, including safety patrols, emergency assistance, search and rescue operations, and helping people enjoying the coast. By expanding coverage along the shoreline, the station is expected to improve access to marine services and provide additional support where it is needed most.
