Electric vehicle charging network expands across Cyprus

Eleven new fast-charging points for electric vehicles have been installed across Cyprus as part of efforts to improve the island’s charging infrastructure and support the growing use of electric transport. The project, valued at approximately €918,000, aims to make charging more accessible and convenient for drivers in key locations.

The charging points have been placed in several areas, including car parks at major public facilities and transport hubs such as hospitals, community areas and bus stations. The new units offer rapid charging technology and allow users to access services through mobile applications or payment cards for greater convenience.

Additional works to further expand the charging network are also under way, with continued efforts focused on improving accessibility and supporting the long-term development of electric mobility across Cyprus.
