The little mountain village of Vavla, which is in the Larnaca district, has only a small number of residents and has been designated as a “Preserved Village” because of its white stone homes and traditional elements. The A2, A5, and F112 highways all go to the settlement, which is located around 38 kilometres to the west of Larnaca.
Beekeeping is currently one of the main jobs for locals, and the village's wildflowers and thyme provide outstanding honey. The settlement is also a part of the 7th Wine Route of the island, which includes the mountainous Larnaca-Nicosia area.
Only a short drive away, there are many interesting places to visit, including a nearby winery, monastery, ancient sites, nature trails, and woodland walks. The area vegetation and fauna will captivate wildlife enthusiasts. Vavla is currently undergoing a new renaissance and many of the dilapidated homes are being restored while still including all the aspects needed for a convenient contemporary way of living. A beautiful walk along the St. Minas stream and mountaintops in between on the seven-kilometer-long circular nature trail that begins in the hamlet is available. The trail leaves from the village's center, passes the Lady of Love Chapel, and then loops back to the same location. On your left as you enter the village, there is a coffee shop. There you can prepare your own coffee and pay by leaving money.
Vavla is a perfect place to live thanks to the village's beautiful setting and the warmth and friendliness of its few citizens. It is considered a fantastic residential area. We feature 2 fastigheter till salu in Vavla.
