The settlement of Mandria is located in the district of Limassol about 35 kilometers northwest of Limassol, and is connected to Kato Platres in the northeast, Pera Pedi in the southeast, Omodos in the southwest, and Agios Nikolaos in the west. The village was developed recently as a community. However, on an older chart it is labeled as Mandala and Mandalo. It is believed that it has existed since the Ottoman era. As for its name, it is derived from shepherds who lived there in early days. Mandria was the name given to a group of Mandres, and the hamlet embraced it.
