Ypsonas, a Limassol suburb that has been a separate municipality of Cyprus since 2012, is situated about 7 kilometers to the west of Limassol city. It was constructed at an average altitude of 90 meters. The British military base at Akrotiri-official Episkopi's boundaries encompass the southern portion of the village.
