Odou village, which is part of the Larnaca district, is regarded as one of the most charming settlements on the island of Cyprus due to its unique folk architecture. The settlement is 50 kilometers from Larnaca and located 850 meters above sea level at the base of the Troodos Mountains in the south.
Its name, which dates back to the Byzantine Era, is derived from the Greek word "odos," which means "street." In the village you can find a small convenience store, a cafeteria and also a football field. Additionally, the fields in Odou are used to grow fruits and vegetables. The village is especially well renowned for its mouthwatering tomatoes. A tiny church which is devoted to Ayia Marina, and was built in 1777 is one of the village’s main attractions.
