Agrokipia, a village located in Nicosia, is situated to the north of the "Adelfoi" forest, and is just 3km east of Mitsero. On the western side of the village, the historic monastery of Agios Panteleimonas can be seen. The name of the village has a long history, dating back to the time when it was a feud of the Knights of the Order of Agios Ioannis. At that time, the village was known as 'Agrochipia'.
