Agios Therapon is a small, charming village located in the district of Limassol, at a height of 640 meters in the Troodos Mountains and is a part of the wine villages region. It shares borders with the Pano Kyvides, with the community of Souni-Zanatzia to the south, Agios Amvrosios to the northwest, Vouni to the west and southwest, Lofou to the east and south-east, and the Alassa to the northeast. Saint Therapon, who allegedly practiced in the area where the holy water and church are located, gave the community its name.
The village is distinctive because of its folk architecture, its paved roads, while the majority of building have a type of structure with an area used as a warehouse on the first level, and a stone home for residents at the top. Not to mention, that in the village there is a communal park with beautiful greenery and places to rest and unwind. There are also a couple of eateries and cafes in the area where residents can enjoy local cuisine. Agios Therapon, also features an Olive Press Museum, as well as stone structures such as bridges and fountains. The Nature Trail in the area provides hiking opportunities with stunning surroundings.
