The second-largest municipality in Cyprus is the one of Strovolos in the Nicosia district, which was established in 1986. Strovolos presently has 67,904 residents (World Population Review). There are a number of amenities available in Strovolos, including schools, supermarkets, banks, restaurants, and more. Strovolos has been mentioned since the Medieval times.
