Anglisides is a village in the district of Larnaca which is about 17 kilometers southwest of the city. Anglisides can be found on the south side of Stavrovouni, between Kofinou and the city of Larnaca. It has been an olive-colored village since the very beginning. The century-old olive tree, which for 700 years has stood as a watchful sentinel in the land of the Anglisides, holds a special position among the village's beauty.
Traditional and contemporary components coexist in this community since some homes in Anglisides are built with a modern architecture, as well as there are neighborhoods with homes characterized by folk architecture. On historical maps, the village is labeled with a variety of names. It has been concluded that the village was undoubtedly medieval.
